IGT launches an advertising campaign to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Wheel of Fortune Slots
International Game Technology (IGT), a global gaming company, announced the launch of an advertising campaign focused on North America to promote the 30th anniversary of the game Wheel of Fortune Slots.
The campaign will run for nine months and will cover social, digital, foreign and traditional media channels, including a broadcast on the television contest program of the same name in May.
IGT's incoming CEO, Hector Fernandez, said: "IGT's Wheel of Fortune Slots is more than a beloved casino game. It is an icon of American culture that players around the world associate with fun and life-changing jackpots."
"As we celebrate the game's 30th anniversary, we launched an exciting advertising campaign that pays tribute to its nostalgic roots while showing its promising future," he added.
The ad features an aesthetic inspired by Busby Berkeley, with elaborate choreographies, retro music and a kaleidoscopic treatment of the characteristic segments of the Wheel of Fortune wheel.
The audiovisual advertising culminates with a prominent shot of IGT's latest Wheel of Fortune game, Wheel of Fortune Cash on Reels in the RISE55 cabinet.
IGT presented the campaign with different versions of the commercial on LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook. Later this year, they will expand the scope of the ad through its presence on outdoor digital posters in iconic locations such as the Las Vegas Strip.
