Stake expands LatAm presence with Buenos Aires Province launch
The launch of the Easygo-owned Stake brand in Latin America comes just 10 days ahead of the start of the FIFA World Cup.
Stake is continuing its expansion across Latin America after going live in Argentina’s Buenos Aires province.
Stake enters Argentina’s largest and most populous province via stake.bet.ar under a licence granted by the Provincial Institute of Lottery and Casinos (IPLyC).
The launch further strengthens Stake’s presence in Latin America, where the operator is live in Mexico, Peru, Brazil and Colombia.
The market entry also builds on Stake’s partnership with former Argentina striker Sergio Aguero.
“Argentina is an important market for us and a natural next step in our expansion across Latin America,” said Diana Otalora, LatAm general manager at Stake. “There is an incredibly passionate sporting culture, a large and digitally engaged population and strong long-term potential for Stake.
“We’ve continued to build momentum across Latin America in recent years, and this launch reflects our ambition to establish Stake as the leading entertainment brand in the region. Argentina is a market with energy and identity and we’re excited to bring our world-class sportsbook and casino experience to players through stake.bet.ar.”
