Sportingtech has secured B2B certification for the Peruvian market from the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR), marking another significant step in the company’s expansion across regulated Latin American jurisdictions.
Covering both functional and integration requirements, the approval confirms the platform’s compliance and operational readiness for operators looking to enter one of the region’s most promising new regulated markets.

As Peru’s online gambling sector continues to gain momentum, forecast to reach $7.6bn by 2033, operators are increasingly seeking trusted platform partners that can enable fast, compliant market entry without compromising on product quality or player experience.

The approval validates key areas of Sportingtech’s platform required for launch in Peru, including:

• Player onboarding, authentication, responsible gaming tools and profile management
• End-to-end sportsbook functionality, including data feeds, bet placement and settlement
• Back-office controls covering player account management and operational oversight

In addition, the process confirmed the successful integration of key game vendors licensed to operate in Peru, ensuring operators can access locally approved casino content from day one, a critical advantage as demand for online casino experiences continues to accelerate.

Antoinette Caruana, Head of Technical Compliance at Sportingtech, commented:
“Peru is a complex market to enter from a compliance standpoint. Achieving this approval represents a significant milestone and reinforces Sportingtech’s commitment to executing its regulated markets strategy. This also ensures we are well positioned to support our partners as they prepare to launch in the market with full regulatory confidence.”

This achievement builds on the strong foundation of Sportingtech’s ISO/IEC 27001 certification obtained in 2025, which formalised its Information Security Management System (ISMS) and embedded robust controls, risk management frameworks and continuous improvement processes across the business.

Clyde Bugeja, Head of Information Security at Sportingtech, added:
“As Sportingtech expands, combining ISO 27001 with approvals like this reinforces our commitment to a secure, trusted and fully compliant platform for our partners, helping give our partners the confidence to launch faster, reduce operational friction, and focus on growing their presence in newly regulated markets like Peru.”

As Peru’s market opportunity evolves, Sportingtech continues to remove barriers to entry, helping operators to move faster through compliance complexity and focus on launching, scaling and capturing market share across Latin America, while further strengthening its position as a leading platform provider in the region.
