Final One Standing World Cup edition open with over 86,000 entries already
Over the course of the 2025/26 Premier League season, William Hill paid out a combined £1,855,000 on their free-to-play Final One Standing game.

A total of 590,000 unique players took part in the inaugural elimination game during the 2025/26 season, and there were 31 leagues won, with jackpots ranging from £20,000 to £500,000 being split between 426 winners.

The first Final One Standing live league saw 292,846 players enter to compete for a jackpot of £500,000. Players picked one Premier League team to win each game week, with correct predictions ensuring their place in the next round and a shot at the ultimate prize. The same team could not be picked twice, making the elimination game increasingly tricky as the competition progressed.

The £500,000 jackpot league was won by seven players and split evenly, with each player receiving a payout of £71,428.57. Following the start of the initial £500,000 jackpot league, subsequent £200,000, £50,000 and £20,000 jackpot leagues were launched.

The biggest win of the season came in the £200,000 jackpot games, with two individual £200,000 jackpots scooped by two lucky players.

Elsewhere, there was one £100,000 jackpot winner and numerous winners of jackpots ranging from £1 to £50,000.

The total payout reached the £1 million mark in early January and increased to over £1.8 million following the final round of Premier League fixtures last weekend.

Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “Our free-to-play Final One Standing game was a great success during the Premier League season, seeing a huge entry of nearly 600,000 unique players across the campaign and a number of big jackpots landed.

“In total we paid out over £1.8m to winners during the course of the season, with the biggest wins landed being two £200,000 jackpots that were scooped by two lucky league winners.

“We’re now looking forward to launching our World Cup version of Final One Standing and already we’ve had around 85,000 players enter to be in the running for the £250,000 jackpot this summer. Over half of all players are siding with Brazil, Germany and Scotland to win their first games but there’s still plenty of time to get involved with entries for round one closing on June 13th.”
