After deducting $17.7 million in profit attributable to non-controlling interests, net income attributable to RSI was $11.5 million, down 31% from the previous year as a result of a $115 million income tax benefit in Q2 2025.
Latin America recorded the company’s strongest regional revenue increase, rising 195% year-over-year during the quarter. North American revenue increased 23%. Overall online sports betting revenue grew 64%, primarily due to engagement associated with the 2026 FIFA World Cup, while online casino revenue rose 40%. Online casino accounted for 72% of RSI’s total quarterly revenue.
Schwartz said: “We delivered another record quarter, setting all-time highs once again for revenue and Adjusted EBITDA, driven by continued share gains in online casino and our sports betting markets benefiting from the World Cup.”
The tournament supported customer acquisition and the reactivation of existing players, particularly in Latin America. More than 25% of first-time depositors acquired during the World Cup had already used RSI’s casino product by the time the results were reported.
Monthly active users increased 58% year-over-year to approximately 949,000. The number of monthly active users in North America rose 51% to around 296,000, supported by growth in the company’s online casino markets.
RSI launched in the Canadian province of Alberta on July 13. Schwartz said first-time depositors and daily active users were tracking at approximately twice the levels recorded in Ontario at the equivalent stage following launch, after adjusting for population differences.
The company has also applied to the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission for a Designated Contract Market license. However, Schwartz said prediction markets are not a strategic priority for RSI and were not having a material effect on its sportsbook operations.
The second-quarter records followed all-time highs for revenue, adjusted EBITDA and net profit during the opening quarter of the year. Across the first six months of 2026, RSI reported revenue of $492.3 million, an increase of 43% year-over-year, while adjusted EBITDA rose 70% to $124.8 million.
First-half operating profit increased 127% to $89 million. Pre-tax profit reached $95.4 million, compared with a $69.9 million loss in the same period of 2025. Net profit for the six-month period increased 39% to $55.5 million, although the prior-year tax benefit again affected the comparison. Net profit attributable to RSI declined 6% to $20.6 million.
