The agreement marks another significant expansion of Hard Rock Bet’s footprint within Florida’s professional sports landscape and strengthens the company’s brand association with major league franchises across the state.
Under the new deal, Hard Rock Bet will become a prominent fixture at the Magic’s home venue, the Kia Center.
Orlando Magic’s SVP of global partnerships JT McWalters said the alliance was designed to elevate the fan experience both inside and outside the arena.
McWalters led the deal alongside Magic’s director of global partnerships Steve Duffy and chief sales officer Michael Forde, and Hard Rock Digital’s managing director of corporate strategy, Nick Menas.
Menas commented: “This partnership is about delivering one-of-a-kind experiences that put Magic fans at the centre of the action, both at Kia Center and wherever they’re engaging with their favourite team.
“We’re thrilled to be tapping into the incredible buzz around this year’s team, and fans have already shown their enthusiasm by making the Magic one of the most-bet teams in our top-rated app this offseason.”
The partnership includes extensive in-arena branding, featuring signage on the jumbotron and baskets during selected home games not broadcast nationally.
Hard Rock Bet scores with new deal
A branded space on the venue’s terrace level will offer fans an immersive experience, further reinforcing Hard Rock Bet’s ubiquitous presence throughout the arena.
The collaboration also extends beyond physical advertising to include a digital and experiential component.
Fans will gain access to exclusive events and content through the Hard Rock Bet Magic Club, accessible via the Hard Rock Bet Sportsbook app.
Hard Rock Bet’s presence will also be felt across the Magic’s digital platforms, with co-branded social media content and themed promotional nights throughout the season.
The sportsbook’s integration aligns with the NBA’s evolving approach to responsible sports betting partnerships, emphasising fan engagement while adhering to regulatory standards.
As Florida’s only authorised sportsbook operator, Hard Rock Bet continues to fortify its standing as the state’s premier gaming brand.
In addition to the Orlando Magic, it already serves as a key partner of the Miami Heat and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, underscoring its strategy to join forces with top-tier franchises across multiple sports.
